Road Trip

Been pretty busy lately with photo trips & Shows...So I guess it's now time once again to add a few more pics to my blog...I had the pleasure of doing a day trip to Wakefield a few weekends back...Hope you Enjoy....Also the past weekend I am in an Art Show @ the Heritage House Museum if you get the chance I will be there until December 20, 2010  so check it out....

A Day of This & That

U.C.V ....Family Day

Today started out as a simple visit to Upper Canada Village with a couple of Family members....But as you know the more the merrier with my Family....To a Grand total of 7....lol....The weather was Amazing....It was a Great Day had by all....It was the twins first visit....These 2 were totally Awesome, such Grand boy's to take any where...Especially for being only 10 months old....they even had the patience of saints while Nana took her pictures...lol....There was a tremendous amount of things to see & do....Pam even found a couple of orphan pigs, so she thought...lol...We followed them back to their home & had the opportunity to get their picture....

Today was the last Day for the Medieval Festival....I did not capture many of this but I did get some photo's around the village....Enjoy & who knows where my next entry will take me!!!

Upper Canada Shot's

Had the pleasure of spending a beautiful weekend ago with my Aunt....Our first stop was for a scrumptious brunch @ the Basket Case in Morrisburg....Naturally we took our time meeting new people there before we were on our way to Upper Canada Village for the afternoon.....

The day turned out to be perfect for capturing memories, the weather was definitely on our side for sure.....After many hours of shooting we decided to visit the store & cafe for a HUGE piece of cake......Glad we did not consume that before we travelled through the village, as we would of not made it very far...LOL....So with that in mind Please take the time to explore the village & Enjoy some of the many photo's I had the pleasure of capturing....

Weekend of Pure Bliss

My weekend was filled with hunting for a dresser to use as a T.V stand....My travels started in Smith Falls at the local Flea Market....This was just the beginning to a day filled with antique travel to say the least....So my journey began....Heading north I decided on the Rideau Heritage Route....Stops included Perth, Balderson, Carleton Place, and Franktown to name just a few.....Not only did I end up with my dresser at a bargain, mind you  after haggling the price for a bit, but also cheese in Balderson and many photo's of my stops....It felt so good to meander through all the beautiful Antique shops ......

Franktown is known for it's Lilac capital of Ontario & what a captivating smell, simply amazing....Balderson for it's scrumptious tasting cheese curds.....Perth for the abundance of shops.....these are just some of my memories of the day....If you are looking for a day trip I suggest the Rideau Heritage Route, you will not be disappointed....There is something for everyone......

Ferry Dock

The water is dropping at a alarming rate in the St. Lawrence river. You will notice the white areas on the posts & beams of where the water table once used to be. These photo's were captured at the water front in Prescott, Ontario.
